Things

Ok i lied, this post is not about me moving into new house haha.

My thing 1 and thing 2 have dozed off into lala land, yeay and mama can have time to eat, clean, wash and type...yes, in that order. You know the saying "the circle of life", once you're a mama yourself then you would understand what it is to love these cute lil things. Not that i've been taking my mama for granted (hope not!) but being a mama never stops. It is a never ending journey..look at my mama..she has to look after her daughter during her pantang days...and daughter-in-law if she has a son (my mother-in-law is too kind). I do not know how to repay these beautiful selfless women but the best i can do is to always pray for their wellbeing and barakah. I was in perak for 2 weeks of pantang there and my MIL has been treating me just as well as she has treated her daughters during their pantang.
1. She had called up the local urut lady Makcik Nor to give me a full body massage. Make that 3 times.

2. She specially boiled pandan and lime leaves for my bath.

3. Carrying the hot boiled fragrant water to the bathroom for me (not allowed to carry heavy things during pantang)

4. Cooked meals (everyday tempeh yeay!)

5. Making thing 1 eat, take a bath, sleep and play.

My mama does all of that too but since we have a water heater i dont get to smell of pandan cakes at my own home anymore (no artificial flavourings would do!).

My mama loves to play with thing 1. She adores his babbling and baby talk and never gets tired of his antics. Opah would always see that thing 1 gets enough to eat, play and dance with Barney. My thing 1 even sleeps watching Barney on her tab in his opah and atok's bed.

Sigh. The sacrifices they made for their lil thing and my lil things are priceless.

Now let me enjoy this Barney-less TV time.
